By installing, accessing, or using the Glitch Chrome extension ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Extension.
Glitch is a Chrome browser extension that provides enhanced video playback controls, including speed adjustment, volume control, color filters, bookmarks, notes, and other features for HTML5 video elements on websites. The Extension operates entirely within your browser and processes video content locally.
Free Tier: Glitch offers 30+ features at no cost, with no account registration required. The Free Tier is available indefinitely and will not be retroactively restricted.
Pro Tier: Additional features are available through a recurring subscription, billed monthly at $2.99 (USD) or yearly at $14.99 (USD), exclusive of taxes. The Pro subscription includes all current and future Pro features and updates for as long as the subscription remains active.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current rate, until canceled. You can cancel renewal at any time from the Lemon Squeezy customer portal; access to Pro features continues until the end of the current paid period.
Pricing Changes: We may change subscription pricing for future billing periods. We will provide reasonable notice (at least 30 days) before any price increase takes effect for existing subscribers, giving you the opportunity to cancel before being charged the new rate.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Extension for personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.
Pro Subscription: An active Pro subscription grants access on all devices signed into the same Glitch account. The license is non-transferable to other accounts and remains valid for the duration of your subscription.
All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our third-party payment processor. By purchasing a Pro license, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's terms of service. Lemon Squeezy handles all billing, tax collection (including VAT), and payment processing.
Your first Pro purchase (monthly or yearly) is covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee. After the guarantee period, you may cancel your subscription at any time to stop future renewals; mid-period or pro-rata refunds are not provided. Canceled subscriptions retain Pro access until the end of the current billing period. To request a refund or cancel, email glitch@tamasvi.com or use the Lemon Squeezy customer portal. The Extension interacts with third-party websites and services (e.g., YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for any changes those platforms make that may affect the Extension's functionality.
The Extension optionally integrates with SponsorBlock, a community-maintained service. Use of SponsorBlock is governed by its own terms and privacy policy.
The Extension, including its code, design, features, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Glitch and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. The "Glitch" name and logo are trademarks of Glitch.
The Extension is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Glitch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Extension.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Extension at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your license to use the Extension will immediately cease. You may terminate your use at any time by uninstalling the Extension.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
